Terms of service.

The agreement between you (the customer) and Zaplens (the service). We've kept it human — read it once, the obligations on both sides are short.

01 · Who we are

Who we are

Zaplens (the “Service”) is operated by Quantum One AI, a company registered in India with its principal office in Kolkata. In these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that company; “you” refers to the individual or organization that has signed up for an account.

02 · What the Service does

What the Service does

Zaplens runs LLM persona agents against the websites you ask us to test. Each agent operates a real headless browser, follows an objective you supply, and produces a report describing where users got confused, attracted, or dropped off. The Service is intended for UX research, product testing, and conversion analysis on websites you own or are explicitly authorized to test.

03 · Accounts

Accounts

You need an account to use the Service. Authentication is provided by our identity partner Clerk; you may sign in with email, Google, or Microsoft. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for every action taken under your account.

  • One organization per account in our current model — when you sign up you create an organization that owns all simulations, API keys, and billing under that account.
  • Accurate info — the name, email, and role you provide during onboarding must be true; we use them for billing receipts and support correspondence.
  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter contracts under Indian law. We don't knowingly serve minors.
04 · Acceptable use

Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Test, probe, or simulate user behavior on websites you don't own and aren't authorized to test — including any form of competitive scraping, vulnerability scanning, or denial-of-service.
  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights (intellectual property, privacy, publicity).
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying model prompts, agent loops, or rate-limit logic.
  • Resell access to the Service, or share API keys outside your organization, without our written consent.
  • Submit personal data of third parties as persona inputs unless you have a lawful basis to do so under applicable privacy law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, immediately and without refund for the period during which the violation occurred.

05 · Plans, payment, and billing

Plans, payment, and billing

Pricing for each plan is shown at zaplens / settings / billing and on the marketing pricing page. Paid plans currently run on a 30-day window paid in advance via Razorpay (cards, UPI, netbanking, wallets). Charges are presented in USD on the catalog and processed in INR at the rate displayed at checkout — see our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund mechanics.

You authorize us (and our payment processor, Razorpay Software Private Limited) to charge the method of payment associated with your account for each period you remain on a paid plan. If a charge fails, the account is downgraded to the free Hobby tier at the end of the current paid window.

06 · Your content and ours

Your content and ours

Your content — websites you point us at, personas you upload, success criteria you describe — remains yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it for the sole purpose of delivering the Service to you (running agents, generating reports, storing the artifacts under your account).

Our service — the Zaplens software, agent logic, report templates, models, design system, and trademarks — is owned by us. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of our IP to you.

We may use aggregated, anonymized usage statistics (counts, latency distributions, plan distributions) to improve the Service. We do not train any LLM on your prompts, your personas, or the contents of the sites you tested.

07 · Third-party services

Third-party services

To deliver the Service we route data through a small set of sub-processors. By using Zaplens you acknowledge these:

  • Clerk — authentication, organization management.
  • Razorpay — payment processing.
  • Cloudflare — Pages hosting, R2 object storage for screenshots / trajectories, edge caching.
  • Neon — Postgres database.
  • Fly.io — backend container hosting.

08 · Disclaimers

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that the insights generated by the agents will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular decision. LLM outputs can be wrong; use them as one input among many, not as the only signal.

We do not warrant uninterrupted operation. Planned maintenance windows and unplanned incidents do happen; we'll communicate them, but they don't constitute a breach.

09 · Limitation of liability

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is capped at the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

10 · Termination

Termination

You can cancel at any time from settings → billing or by emailing us. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid window; you keep access until then.

We can suspend or terminate your account for cause (material breach, non-payment after the grace period, abuse) on reasonable notice. On termination, you may request export of your reports for 30 days before we delete them.

11 · Governing law

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata.

12 · Changes

Changes

We may update these Terms when the Service changes materially. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and notify active customers by email. Continued use of the Service after the change indicates acceptance.
